Graduated in Dentistry in 1985. Specialist in Orthodontics. Full Professor of Orthodontics and Clinical Gnathology. Director of the Postgraduate School in Orthodontics at the University of Catania. Author of over 250 articles in international scientific journals. Former President of the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics and Secretary of the Italian Society of Orthodontics (SIDO 2014–18). Since 2000, she has been working on Digital Orthodontics, with particular reference to the applications of Artificial Intelligence in this field. This topic has been the subject of publications in high-impact international journals, as well as of international and national research projects, including “Minerva,” “PRIN,” and “Heal Italia.”
