Professor Giulio Alessandri Bonetti received his degree in Medicine and Surgery and subsequently completed his specialization in Odontostomatology at the University of Bologna, followed by a postgraduated in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara. He is Associate Professor at the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences (DIBINEM), University of Bologna, where he holds the chair of Orthodontics within the Degree Programs in Dentistry, Dental Hygiene, and Speech Therapy. He serves as Head of the Orthodontics and Dental Sleep Medicine Unit at the University of Bologna and is Director of the Postgraduate School in Orthodontics and the Master’s Program in Dental Sleep Medicine. After many years of dedicating his clinical and research activity to orthodontics, he has broadened his scientific focus to sleep disorders, with particular emphasis on those of dental relevance, most notably Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA).
