Dr. Perakis graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the University of Bologna in 1994. He obtained his LMD at the University of Geneva in 1998, followed by a Doctorate in Dental Sciences (Dr. Magne) in 2002, and a Swiss specialization in Prosthodontics (Prof. Belser) in 2004.
President-elect of AIC, active member of EAED where he also serves on the Membership Committee.
He has lectured and conducted courses at leading universities in Italy and abroad, such as Harvard University, University of Southern California USC, Université de Strasbourg, Université de Genève, University of Athens and the Universities of Naples, Genoa, and Bologna.
Since 2002, he has been a teaching coordinator in the Postgraduate Master’s Program in Prosthodontics in Bologna (Prof. Scotti), and in the Second-Level Master’s Program in Conservative and Esthetic Prosthodontics (Prof. Breschi). Since 2022, he has also served as a faculty member at the Postgraduate School of Orthodontics at the University of Padua (Prof. Gracco).
He is a speaker at national and international courses and conferences, and author of many publications.
