Abstract
Tips for Class II Correction with Elastics and Aligners in Permanent Dentition
by Pasciuti Enzo
The correction of Class II malocclusions in patients with permanent dentition represents one of the most frequent challenges in orthodontic treatments for orthodontists. In this lecture, Dr. Enzo Pasciuti will provide a detailed overview of the most effective clinical strategies for managing Class II cases through the combined use of aligners and elastics in various modalities. The lecture will cover the key elements for optimizing setup design, with the goal of increasing treatment efficiency and achieving predictable and reproducible results. Special attention will be given to the choice of attachments—crucial for controlling complex dental movements—the ideal sequence of movements, the creation of a functional setup, and the synergistic use of elastics to facilitate sagittal correction. Several real clinical cases will also be presented, allowing participants to understand the practical application of the theoretical concepts discussed. Thanks to his solid clinical experience and international training, Dr. Pasciuti will offer a complete and up-to-date overview on how to successfully approach Class II correction with aligners, providing participants with practical tools they can immediately apply in their everyday practice starting the very next Monday.
